Founder, Ms. Amy Kay, has more than 25 years of experience. Ms. Kay is an award-winning, published writer, served as a national judge for the Clarion Awards, and served as the moderator of the Illinois Engineering Excellence Awards. She holds the Association of Women in Communications’ Certified Communications Professional designation, which is endorsed by the University of Washington. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University and a master’s degree from Tulane University.

Ms. Kay's previous employment includes Girl Scouts, Coca-Cola Bottling Co., a mid-sized architecture/engineering firm, and disaster recovery consulting services for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for 15 federal disaster declarations. She is active in a various volunteer and nonprofit organizations.
